102. Natchez Hybrid Crape Myrtle

‘Natchez’ is one of a series of hybrid Crepe Myrtle bred and introduced by the U.S. National Arboretum in Washington, D.C. It is the most popular of the series and is now widely grown for its abundant white flowers and very attractive stems which exfoliate to reveal the cinnamon colored new bark characteristic of the Lagerstroemia fauriei parent.
